The extortion scam, and why it works

Here's how the bad version goes. You message someone in a Discord or Telegram channel. They seem friendly. You give them your school login. They do the work, or they don't. Either way, a week later they message you again, this time demanding more money, or they'll send screenshots to your professor and your dean. You pay once. You pay again. It doesn't end. Some students are still paying months later.

It works because you handed over the one thing that gives them power over you, your full access, before you knew who they were. There was no way to check if they were real, and no way out once they had leverage.

Why we're not that

We're a real service with a public presence, not a person in an anonymous DM. The first thing that happens is a conversation. You tell us the class, the platform, the schedule, and the grade you're trying to hold. We tell you honestly whether we can take it on, who we'd put on it, and what's involved. You ask every suspicious question you have. Then you decide.

You don't pay a deposit to start that conversation. You don't hand over logins to a stranger before you've decided anything. The whole point of talking first is that you get to judge us before anything is at stake.

How discretion actually works here

A real, reputable service protects itself by protecting you. We can't promise a school will never notice a whole class handover, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. What we control is the part that's on us: one consistent person on your class so the writing voice doesn't suddenly shift mid semester, and we stop the moment something feels off to you.

And if something feels off partway through, you can stop. You're not locked in. We'd rather you pull the plug than feel trapped.

What a whole class involves

Online classes are usually a mix: weekly discussions, quizzes, a midterm, a final, sometimes proctored exams. Some of it is straightforward. Proctored exams are a different and much riskier category, and in most cases we won't take them on. We'll tell you straight rather than say yes and then leave you exposed. Tell us the full shape of the class and we'll tell you exactly what we can take on and what we can't.
