What "human written" should mean (and usually doesn't)

When a site says an essay is human written, you'd assume that means a person sat down and wrote it. Most of the time, it doesn't. Here's the workflow that took over this industry about two years ago: the writer feeds your prompt into a language model, gets a full draft back, then cleans it up.
